My Career so far

As an undergraduate, I studied Psychology with a focus on cognitive psychology, how we learn and remember things. During this time, I developed skills as a research assistant for the Psychology department.

Later, I received my graduate degree in School Psychology, which focuses on academics, career development, and mental health as it relates to the student.

I have 14 years of experience as a professional educator during which I have planned and designed learning units, curriculum, and online learning modules.

As a STEAM Instructor, an educator in the pandemic, and through personal exploration I have become familiar with many digital platforms and software.

As a school counselor, I have taken on an administrative role with the development and implementation of a school- wide comprehensive guidance program and serving in various leadership roles at both site and district levels.

I am currently completing course work in Coursera to build a design portfolio and provide some credentials to show what I know.

I enjoy creating simple and engaging digital media that facilitates learning and sparks interest.
